The language and the slang used in this video is unusual to hear. This is because it's modern slang used in Film Nior. Personally, I find it interesting because it's different hearing it in this type of format; an example is hearing what appears to be an old man saying "swear down" or "main home boy." As it's usually used in this modern generation, the author decided to use it in this formant for the comedy side of things. Instead of using such sayings as "well betrayed" they could of used I feel very betrayed, but instead decided to use the comedy side of things and use the slag "well." So over all, I think that the author decided to use this language for comedy.
